Objective of goalie program
Beginning with the first day, you will
be Professionally evaluated. From there,
we will use our 38 years of experience
to meet your most immediate need for
improvement. You will become our
priority at each teaching station.
Each day, you will leave with

Training & development highlights
Skating Skills • Explosive speed work in crease • Balance and agility drills • Explosive shuffles and T-glides
Angles and Positioning • Visual clues • Challenging shooters • Square to the puck • Using arc and crease properly
• Ability to fill in space
Stance • Initial stance • Speed work in stance • Quick recovery back to the initial stance • Stick positioning
• Correct position of glove
Use of the Stick • Poke-checking (short poke, extended poke, side poke, diving poke checks) • Clearing and passing • Set-up for a defenseman • Rebound control
Intense and Challenging Shooting Stations
All skills taught will reflect game like situations
Breakaway situations / Explosive recovery drills / Explosive five-point angle drill / Wrap-arounds /Screens and tips / Butterfly / Latteral slides / Screen tarps / Small pucks White pucks / Reaction devices
On-ice training & highlights
Each goalie will be competing in the fastest
skater contest within their own age group.
Medals will be awarded to the winners !
Filming & evaluation
Each student will be filmed and evaluated during the week. Each student will review their filming with the coach. On the final day, each student will receive a written evaluation.
Jersey
Each goalie will receive an official goalie jersey.
Off-ice training
Each day prior to on-ice activities, time will be allocated for: Group warm up and dynamic stretch
Hockey Combine testing / Light plyometric to develop balance, agility, quickness and strenght
Obstacle courses / Relay races / NHL hockey videos / Teaching goalie videos
Soccer: Players favorite to develop quick feet. Off-ice sessions will include soccer.
